Our original plan was to sail though the canals in France and sail our way to Venice, which is somewhere I have always dreamed of visiting. And what could be better than sailing up the Grand canal on your own boat! Pretty cool, anyway as you know we are not in Venice, we are still in England but that dream has not been forgotten, it has just been put aside for the time being.
There are so many trips that we would like to take on Sylmara, where do I begin?! Living in Britain as well as having a love of the sea , I also adore the countryside and it has to be said that there are some beautiful places in Britain, so what could be better than sailing around our little Island and trying to see as much as we can. I have bee to Southern Ireland once before which I loved, I have never been to Wales or to Scotland but have also wanted to visit. One place in particular that quite my eye was Tenby in Wales. (As shown below)
How stunning is that ? And it right here in Britain.
Obviously at the moment we are stuck in the "real world" of holding down jobs and paying our rent, but we shall be spending every free day we have this summer sailing , and getting to know our lovely boat and exactly how she sails , etc. I shall keep adding to this page as I am sure the list of places shall grow longer and longer!
